Job Summary:

Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for delivering care to patients in accordance with physician's orders, including health maintenance, episodic, and chronic care for the adolescent, adult, and elder population of the client's community.

Key Responsibilities:

--- Deliver care to patients according to physician's orders and department guidelines.

--- Review medical records for pertinent previous and current medical information.

--- Interview patients to assess current problems, medications, and allergies.

--- Administer medications according to policy and procedure.

--- Identify acute versus emergency situations and respond to emergencies according to policy.

--- Document all care provided in a concise and complete manner.

--- Organize tasks, solve problems, and respond calmly and purposefully in times of multiple demands and emergency situations.

--- Adhere to departmental expectations and professional responsibilities.

--- Comply with training requirements, including HIPAA Privacy and Security.

Preferred Qualifications:

--- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.

--- 3-5+ years of experience.

--- Previous medical-surgical experience.

--- IV Therapy skills.
